Description of 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210

I want to start off by asking you to please call forhonest answers BEFORE you bid. Or better yet, ome by and look at the vehicle or have someone inspect it for you. I do the best I can describing my vehicles and I include very good pictures that can be expanded. I do this to try and avoid any misunderstandings. It is impossible to list every little item on a vehicle that may or may not beimportant to a buyer. Thanks.
This is a super cool and very rare 1953 Chevrolet Custom Coupe that was re-built years ago, ut still looks great. Not to be confused with a 2 door sedan. Notice the much shorter rear side windows and roof line. 53 was the last year that Chevy offered the custom and business coupes.Difference between the two being the custom coupe had more trim, lider rear quarter windows, nd a rear seat.
I bought this car to finish a gasser project that someone else started a while back, ut I have way toomany other projectsgoing, o some have to go. All it would need is a Speedway Motors straight axle kit installed, nd it would make a very cool gasser.Complete kits with disc brakes are around $800.000 now.
Body:This car came up out of Tulsa OK, o it is a fairly solid car. I can tell where the rockers have been replaced, he bottom of the drivers front fender, nd the front of each rear wheel well. The body work was done very well using welded metal and very littlebondo. There are no signs of any of itcoming back through. No bubbling, racking, tc. The sea foam green paint is super nice and shinny. However, he previous owner chipped some edges around the front doors and front fenders from taking them off and on. The right side fender also has some very smalladditional chips on the side. I have a small can of the paint he used for touch up andreference. Thefloor pans look to be original and in good shape. The trunk pan has had some minor repair workdone to it. Some of the body mounts could still use some repair, ut overall, t is asolid car. I have the inner fender wells and other trim if the gasser look is not your desire. One vent window and one rear side glass have small cracks. All of the chromeand stainless trim is in super nice to excellent in condition. The only item I would even consider having re-chromed is the hood spear.
The car has just been completely rewired. All lights work including the back up lights. All newgauges also. Very nice stereo system. The wipers are vacuum and not currently hooked up. I would expect them to work with a little effort. Horn works from the stock steering wheel as it should.
The interior is super nice and color matched to the outside color. I think those are mid 60s Ford Thunderbird bucket seats?
Drive line consists of: Moderately built 406 smallblock Chevy. Has a slight cam lope. 145 lbs compression in all cylinders. Edelbrockhigh rise and Holley carb. Hooker fender well headers with cut outs, nd cherry bomb mufflers. Engine has a nice deepsound. Trans is a 400 Turbo. Shifts finebut not hard, o I suspect it is stock. Rear end is the large Corporate 10 bolt with posi and 3:55 gears. There is no troublespinning those big tires over. Brand new 4 core aluminum radiator. New power brake master cylinder and booster.
Suspension is stock front and rear. Handles just fine. Original drum brakes work great.
Wheels are 15x7rally with custom madecenter caps from original vintage Chevy dog dish caps. Tires are like new P265-60-15s on all 4 wheels.
