1971 4x4 Chevy Blazer. I bought this Blazer just under a year ago from the second owner who had owned it over 20 years! It has been in Northern CA its entire life and is very original. The Blazer came from the factory as a very low optioned 4x4 truck with a 307. It now has a 350 crate motor in it with unknown exact mileage. The truck starts right up and runs really good. I have only driven it locally around town and it gets around great. The four wheel drive works awesome and the hubs turn nice and smooth. Tires are in great shape. The interior is in good shape. Front bench seat which was just completely redone and original rear seat which is covered in cloth with no rips. No carpet, revious owner had the floor roll on bedlined for sound deadening and was going to add carpet over that but never did. Brand new door panels, ash, love box, nd steering wheel. The gauges do need work as the fuel does not work and I am not sure about the others. Speedo does work. Headlights/tail lights work as do the blinkers. The exterior of the truck has no rust! The rockers were replaced at some point and painted to blend into the original paint. They did a good job on them from what I can tell. Some dents here and there as it is ORIGINAL PAINT and over 40 years old. I was told from the previous owner that the Blazer is wearing its original dealer installed soft top. I am not sure if this is true but it is much different than the aftermarket ones I have seen. The top shows its age and has a few nicks and patches. Brand new zippers in the back. It does come with a black NOS soft top with tinted windows to replace this one at some point. It takes maybe 5 minutes to convert to convertible and maybe 10 minutes to put the hard top back up. The original owner supposedly passed this on when he sold the truck to the man I bought it from! Front window is cracked and the truck would probably benefit from a tune up. Overall a very original Blazer that could be driven as is or brought to the next level. Clear CA title in hand. Please ask all questions before bidding. Call Richard at 530-906-1661 for more info.
