| My 1967 Chevy C-10 Longbed is slightly lowered and beefed-up. looks badass. sounds even better. and gets positive attention everywhere I drive it. I've spent the last year upgrading just about everything so it drives like a modern truck. while keeping that classic look. I just drove it all the way up to Lake Tahoe. where it performed perfectly in sub-freezing temperatures and a snow storm. I've got $25. 00 invested in this truck in the past 8 months. I'm only selling because I need to help a family member. I'm told that the combination of factory automatic transmission (TH350). factory AC. and the "Chevrolet" across the front lip of the hood make this a fairly rare truck. The bed still has the original wood. This truck has been my daily driver and has never let me down. I have the clean title in hand and the CA tags are good til Sep 2015. No dents. all the steel is straight. no bondo. With just a little touch up paint. this truck can be show quality. Here are all the upgrades done in the past year:355 crate engine built custom for this truck by Blueprint. 411 horsepower at the wheels documented by the manufacturer on the dyna. Engine has only 8. 00 miles on it. I had the covers pulled off and the valves inspected and adjusted at 5. 00 miles. so the engine is dialed in perfectly. Engine has 50. 00 mile warranty. State-of-the-art fuel injection system by MSD. unique for these trucks. New Mini-starter that ensures the engine fires up every time. no matter how cold. It fired up every time last week in freezing temps and a snow storm up in Tahoe. very impressive. 4-barrel carb tuned by the carb master. Ed Schroeder in Westminster. Ed has done all my work to this truck. so you know it's been professionally handled. Custom AC/Heating unit by Vintage Air. uses the factory AC face-plate to keep the classic look. but everything behind it is modern mechanics. Blows hot and cold. Brand new disc brakes up front. new drums in the rear. Power steering. Upgraded. modern suspension rides very smoothly. Replaced 2" pipes and glass packs with 2. 5" pipes with chrome tips and dual Flowmaster 50 Series. gives it that classic V8 rumble. but not so loud that it's obnoxious. Brand new BFG Radials rated for 50. 00 miles add to the hot rod look. 225/60/15 up front and much wider 275/60/15 in the back. Still rocking the original Half-Moon rims for that classic look. they are in perfect condition. Custom RetroSound stereo deck is made to keep the classic look while providing all the functions of a modern deck. including Bluetooth. phone/ipod connection. USB charger connection. programmable stations. etc. Interior keeps the white and black theme. black leather and white/black houndstooth vinyl is very durable. no holes. rips. or burns. bench is very comfortable. no bad springs. Truck was painted brilliant white earlier this year. I get compliments on it all the time. As it is my daily. there are some small paint chips from normal wear-and-tear that need touch up. I have the touch up kit already purchased and can include it. All the electrical works great. I just installed a heavy duty flasher for the signals. Mechanically this truck is a 10 out of 10. Interior and paint are 9 out of 10. Minor touch ups and very little investment can make this a show quality truck. Or run it as-is for a wonderfully reliable daily driver.
