Description of 1935 Chevrolet Other Coupe |
| Up for auction is a 1935 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Coupe. This car was originally sold in Pennsylvania. and came into our possession in December of 1998. It was all original and in driving condition. but after a few months. it was time to make a hot rod out of it. This car was taken apart and rebuilt over the course of 5 years. and driven in between during the summer months. Since completion. it has been driven on several long trips of 700+ miles and plenty of short local shows. and has been a reliable car. It has won a few awards and plaques at shows. and has been garage kept and well maintained all the while. It's a great car that's ready for a new owner to drive and enjoy. Now onto the details. Body - 1935 Chevrolet All Steel Body with Factory Suicide Doors - Fenders and running boards original to the car - Painted Banana Yellow with flames and striped by Travis "Tuki" Hess. Grille is original and in very good shape. 1941 Chevrolet LED Tail Lights Original 1935 Chevrolet Bumper on back. Still have original hood sides in primer. Engine - 1994 Chevrolet 350 - Bored . 030 over with Flat-Top pistonsComp Cam Hydraulic Camshaft - Grind #CS 282S-10 - 235 Intake and Exhaust Duration at . 050 and . 495 Intake and Exhaust Lift. 1994 Chevrolet Heads with new valves including 3-angle valve job and rebuilt valve-train. Edelbrock Aluminum Intake ManifoldSummit HEI DistributorQuadrajet Carburetor - Car got just about 20 mpg on the last trip to Beaver SpringsFlame Center-Bolt Valve CoversBlock Hugger HeadersTransmission - 1992 Chevrolet 700r4 - Rebuilt with Shift Improver KitRear-End - 9 Inch Ford with 4. 11 gears and a Clutch-Type Posi UnitWheels and Tires - Front wheels are 15 x 6 Weld Rodlites with 205/70R15 TiresRear Wheels are 15 x 8 Weld Rodlites with 235/75R15 Tires** Photos show rear wheels as chrome steel and cheater slicks. but updated photos of car can be sent to e-mail if desired **Suspension - Front end is a Mustang II with power steering and power disc brakes. Rear Suspension has factory leaf springs with 2 inch lowering blocks - With new hangers and bushings installed. Interior - Tan Tweed with Pontiac Fiero seats (with speakers in the head rests)Cd player under dash with Sirius Satellite Radio. Pontiac Bonneville ShifterTrunk was reupholstered in Tan Tweed also. Battery located behind seats. Tilt Steering Column with operating turn signals and hazzard lights. Other Odds and Ends -All New Glass with Green Tint and new window rubbers and moldings - Installed in 1999. Halogen Head light bulbs in original Housings. Working Heater. Dynomax Bullet Mufflers with Tail pipes out the back - Routed under rear end for better floor clearance. Brand new Walker Radiator - Car runs cool all day long. Once again. this is a great reliable car. and would not hesitate to drive it to Ocean City again. It's just time for someone else to enjoy it. and move onto another project. |
