Description of 1940 Chevrolet Other

1940 Chevrolet 4 door Sedan for sale due to too many projects and failing health. This car is in better than average condition and runs and has new wheel cylinders installed and rebuilt master cylinder. The Gas tank was removed and professionally cleaned and sealed at a local shop. Has a new battery and comes with the following parts not shown in photo. Unrestored running boards, oor panels, ail and turn signal light trim and lenses. It has new rubber in trunk and front doors and cowl vent. Emergency brake removed and will need re assembled as well as the vent linkage. Transmission tunnel unscrewed and front seat unbolted for service. all interior door and windows with echelons are included. One plastic window echelon is cracked in two. All garnish moldings ^ have been refurbished and the stainless surrounding the windows has been cleaned and preliminary polishing done. Also included and not shown is the horn button, as tank spout and uninstalled new fender welt. This car has some surface rust on frame and underneath, ust in trunk area cut out and ready to weld patch. It has 3 small places in floor 1-3 inch cracks (not holes) and around a few rear fender bolt holes, hat will need attention otherwise mostly rust free. see description of parts not shown that will be included.Car is titled as a 1939 because it was made in December 1939. It had the right vin code for 1940. Vacuum shift removed and later Chevrolet linkage used.

In response to question Is the car road worthy I mistakenly wrote Now instead of Not. I replied again to questioner, ut was not given the choice to post that response. Here is the correction. Because of the condition and problems that need addressed the car is currently not ready to drive on the road.
