Description of 1994 Chevrolet Other

Former Snap-On tool truck. 6.5 L non-turbo "Detroit" Diesel, speed auto trans. heavy duty rear dual axle and trailer hitch. Aluminum body with fiberglass roof and hood. I bought it in 2012, ad a bunch of work done on it, tripped the interior in preparation for an RV conversion, ut decided to buy an RV instead. Runs strong. New tires, ecent electrical overhaul, ransmission overhaul (disassembled with new seals), ew starter and alternator. I have kept all receipts. It comes with a working lift gate that I removed, o it would need to be reattached. It's a great blank slate for a work truck, ood truck (see disclosure below), V, r Burning Man mutant vehicle skeleton.. Outside dimensions: 24' long x 9' 10" tall x 7' 9" wide. Inside dimensions (cargo area) 15' 9" long x 7' 1" tall x 7' 6" wide. Rear door is 43" wide x 79" tall. Currently registered. There is a small electrical short somewhere that drains the batteries if the installed battery cutoff switches aren't used when parked.
This truck, ecause of its high GVWR (16,000 lbs) is subject to the CA truck and bus diesel regulations and is basically not suitable for commercial use. From the ARB regulations:"An on-road heavy duty diesel or alternative-diesel vehicle operated in California may be subject to the California Air Resources Board Regulation to Reduce Particulate Matter and Criteria Pollutant Emissions from In -Use Heave Duty Vehicles. It therefore could be subject to exhaust retrofit or accelerated turnover requirements to reduce emissions of air pollutants. For more informatio, lease visit the California Air Resources Board Website at http//www.arb.ca.gov/ "
TRANSLATION: due to new CA emissions regulations this truck is basically only good for a personal use motor home conversion in CA. I have put over $10,000 into this vehicle. Delivery possible for a non-refundable deposit.
