Description of 1970 Chevrolet C-10

Up for sale is my project truck - a 1970 Chevy C20 Custom Camper 3/4 ton long bed 2wd. Purchased 2 years ago and was planning on performing a resto mod/rat rod, ut we've had a baby since then and I just don't have the time to complete it. I was originally looking for a C10 when I stumbled on this truck and realized it was the C10's big brother! The truck has a strong running 350 v8 and a 700r4 transmission that makes it ideal for city and highway travel. The previous owner was unsure of the last engine rebuild, ut the truck runs well. True mileage is unknown. It has long tube headers, n edelbrock carb with electronic choke and a performance intake manifold. I purchased the truck in Charlotte, C and drove it home the day I bought it with no issues. It was driven on a weekly basis and it never gave me an ounce of trouble. I also recently drove it to Savannah and back with no issues at all (about a 250 mile round trip). I wouldn't hesitate to drive this truck anywhere. Truck has power front disc brakes and drum rear brakes. It also has a brand new stereo with bluetooth capability and 2 4" rockford fosgate speakers in the dash. Has a hitch and has trailer brake controller installed. Bed is sturdy and strong and hauls anything you want to haul.
Problem areas:
- Typical rust in the rocker panels, ab corners and a few patches that need to be made throughout the body
- Driver side door is bent and could probably be repaired. Needs a new hinge as the one installed is broken and allows the door to open back fully
- Interior needs to be reconditioned.
- Needs a paint job if that kind of stuff bothers you
I've accumulated some parts for the resto that will be included:
- Brand new rocker panels for both sides
- Brand new cab corners for both sides
- Original interior door panels that have been stripped of their original upholstery
- Brand new taillight bezels
- Brand new tail lights
- I will also include some upholstery that I bought for the interior if the buyer would like.
- Forgot to take pictures, ut the truck comes with a set of wheels and tires in addition to the set that's on the truck.
I'd like to sell the truck or trade it for a newer model (2002+) crew cab 4wd pickup. I would add cash on my end if interested in a trade. I've got the clean and clear title in hand. Hate to put my truck up for sale, ut the time has come. Happy to answer any questions that you may have.
