As shown in the pictures, his truck is a professionally fully restored FRAME OFF Restomod and has many upgrades. The restoration and all work has been done professionally in my restoration business,Vintage Restorations. This is the first vehicle I have listed on eBay; however, have operated my restoration business for 33 years.
The truck's 1955 body is mounted on a 1971 Chevrolet C20 frame assembly. In 1955, 3600 truck came with a 7 ft. bed; however, ecause the 1971 frame was made with an 8 ft. bed this truck has an 8 ft. bed with the 1955 rear fenders. This change makes it one of a kind, roviding for more storage and a better ride with the longer wheel base.
I have been told that since this truck is a ¾ ton truck, uilt as it is, t is ideally suited to be used to tow a vintage travel trailer or other tandem axle trailers.
The truck is equipped with a 1971 Chevrolet 300 HP 350 CI 4 Bolt Main V-8 (Fully Rebuilt) with an Edelbrock Performer 650CFM Carburetor.
The transmission is a 1989 GM THD 700 R-4 Turbo (3 Speed with Overdrive) (Fully Rebuilt).
It has the original Dana 60 Differential with a 4:10 axle ratio (Fully Rebuilt).
