1981 CHEVROLET K-5 BLAZER 2 WHEEL DRIVE

All vehicles have a story and this K-5 is no different. This one starts with the previous owner who did all the work on the Blazer to bring it to the amazing condition it is in today. I am only the current owner and have contributed very little to the build. I bought the Blazer about 6 months ago and the previous owner is local so don't be afraid to ask questions. The previous owner lovingly over about 6 months opened his check book and spent well into the 15k to 20k range to complete this Blazer K-5 Silverado.

The Blazer underwent a complete body off restoration. The frame was painted and sealed along with the underside of the bodyand has less than 1000 miles on everything that follows in this description. The motor is a 5.7/350 crate motor with Pro Comp aluminum heads,small Cranecam, delbrockPerformer Single PlaneIntake, olly 780 with electric choke,Hedman coated headers, rue dualswithH pipe and Magnaflow mufflersexiting out chrome tips. New OEM radiator, an upper and lower hoses and belts. The Transmission is a 700r-4 completely rebuilt with B&M Shift kit, tock torque converter, ilterand Royal Purple fluid. The 350 runs and sounds great and the 700r transmission shifts firm and smooth.

The exterior is a 9.5 out of 10 and looks like new because it is. All the trim, ody mouldings, rill, ead lights, ail lights, arker lights, urn signals, irrors andboth front and rear bumpersare new. All body mounts, uspension front and rear, ll 4 shocks, joints and rear end have been replaced or rebuilt. New brake pads, otors, rums, hoes and hardware. A new yellow top Optima battery was installed just in the last 6 months along with new Alternator, ower steering pump and hoses. The removable fiberglass top is in great condition and all the seals around the doors, indows, ailgate and top are new. The power rear window goes up and down perfectly.

The interior is just stunning and is a 9 out of 10with all the billet aluminum covering the AC vents,door panels and instrument cluster. The two tone exterior is matched in the interior with the low back buckets and door panel inserts. The headliner, ick panels, ail panels, onsole, ll controls, witches, oor handles, oor pulls, indow cranks, nd inside and outside door handlesare new. Thesill plates and seat belts are new. The carpet looks great, ut could use a cleaning. The stereo is a Nakamichi touch screen with Navigation, luetooth, d, pod, phone connections and all new custominstalled speakers. A new Viper Alarm with remote and new locking gas cap has also been installed. The AC blows ice colddue to all new parts installed, ompressor, ines, ondenser, vap core and heater core. All the gauges work and a small tach has been added to the A pillerbut can be easily removed, f desired.

The long and short of it is that this is a new Blazer with very tasteful upgrades. The new tires are mounted on very nice set of American Racing polished aluminum wheels and I have the stock rally wheels with beauty rings and caps that go with the sale. The K5 is a pleasure to drive and is 100% ready for the next owner. All new parts are OEM quality and most came from LMC Truck and professionally installed. Since my purchase I have driven it about 100 miles and had a front end alignment, ires rotated and balanced, ew high beam headlights, il and filter change and complete detail inside and out. It stays in a climate controlled warehouse and I drive it to and from work when the weather is nice which is only 3 miles total per day.

I have very little in the way of negatives with this Blazer, t's not perfect but close. If I were keeping it I would route the exhaust out the back. The location of the tips in front of the bumper corners has discolored them a little as shown in the last couple of pictures. Even though the carpet and interior is almost new, t is not perfect either. I am having the entire vehicle professionally detailed but the Blazer has been driven and enjoyed by the previous owner and myself.
