For those drawn to the Corvette Stingray body style and appreciate the refinement and simplicity of the engine compartment layout of the late Stingrays, he 1981 Stingray model is unquestionable since it offers the last of the carbureted engines and had minimal electronic componentsgoverning engine management. If you areinterested in getting into the wonderful world of Corvette ownership at an affordable price, his 1981 Red Corvette Coupe with removable T-Top roof panels is worthy of serious consideration. Late Stingrays are starting to appreciate and becoming more desirable. You are bidding on an above average 1981 Corvette Stingray with 80,910 miles shown on the odometer. This Stingray has been garage kept since 2002 and has hadseveral items completed. New HD Radiator installed 2003, ooker Headers and true Flow Max Dual Exhaust were installed 2004, ew S/S Sleeved brake calipers with slotted rotors and steering rack was rebuilt in 2006. New interior (carpet, eat covers and door panels), long with instrument lights and weather stripping was replaced in 2007. The Birdcage was repaired due to previous rust issues in 2010 along with newpaint job and bushings. New Firehawk Indy 500 tires were added in 2012. A new carburetor was installed Dec 2015. This Corvette is in above average condition however it should be noted that the fuelgauge (inaccurate) and clock are not working. The radio was replace in 2010 however is not working. The right power window motor works occasionally. There is a small paint chip on the RF fender and the rocker channel panels. The eBrake needs adjusting.
