Description of 1964 Chevrolet El Camino

Up for sale is a awesome 1964 El Camino Pro Touring car. This thing is so fun to drive. It has a 6.0 LS conversion with GM hot cam and springs, delbrock Victor Jr intake and stand alone MSD ignition with Holley carb. The trans is a NV3500 5 speed and shifts perfect no rattles or noises and has a hydraulic clutch that works perfect. Aluminum radiator, ower disk brakes with C5 Corvette big brakes up front and Wilwood dual piston calipers in the rear. The suspension has been upgraded as well with tubular upper and lower control arms. Has headers and flowmasters that dump at the rear and sounds great. The car has been painted about 18 years and is a driver quality paint, f you are looking for a show car this is not for you, ut it would be very easy to paint the car because there are no rust issues and the body is straight and solid. There are a couple very small bubbles in the paint about the size of a pencil eraser. The bed is solid as well as the floors and frame. I cannot find any rust in this car anywhere. The seats are original bucket seat that have been recovered. It also has new carpet and door panels. The gauges have been converted to aftermarket manual on the oil and temp and factory fuel gauge works as well. There is no radio, ut the wipers and all lights work. This is a perfect daily driver car that gets over 18mpg and runs very strong about 450 hp and you cant tear these ls engines up. The engine came out of a chevy truck with 75,000 miles and has about 6,000 miles put on it since the swap. The swap was done by a certified GM tech and this car was his daily driver for about 2 years. The engine trans brakes and suspension would cost over $12 grand if you had a shop do it and the car is very solid. I have new fender emblems as one of them is broken. The only thing I know that the car needs is a new heater core installed, t leaks and I have a new one it just needs to be put in. This car also had AC from Factory and the ac box is there but there is no compressor or lines but would be easy to ad if you like. The wheels and tires are brand new Boss 338 18" and 20". I also have another set of alum wheels if you want it cheaper or don't like these. I would not be afraid to drive this car to Alaska and back one the heater core is replaced. I drive it every week and hate to sell it but I am moving and cant take the car with me. I do have the car for sale locally and can end the auction at any time for any reason. If you are serious call me at 615-504-8288 The car will probably sell before auction ends so don't wait. I will work with international shippers and help set up. You are responsible for all shipping cost. I have a clear title and it will not be released until funds have cleared.

$500 deposit by paypal in 24 hours, alance to be paid in cash or wire transfer only in 5 days. Come inspect and drive the car any time
