| 1962 corvette convertible Numbers matching. bought from previous owner of 45 years. It was framed off 40 years ago and then received NCRS second flight. It has always been stored in climate controlled garage year round in the last 40 years. This 62 corvette is one of the rarest color combinations. only 820 out of 14. 531 were Almond beige and the roman red interior would add to it's rarity that is complemented with a new soft top. Another rare option in this car is the power windows. only 995 came from the factory equipped with it. It also has it's original Wonderbar radio. 1962 was the first year for any Corvette to be equipped with 327 engine. This classic Corvette has the 327/300 HP motor with 4 speed T10 Warner transmission and correct shifter with reverse lock out. with posi traction. The chrome and stainless in this Corvette is really nice with no pitting or scratches. Windshield and rubber gasket is near show quality. No pitting on the windshield pillar post or door glass posts. The roman red interior still looks like new with Corvette correct mats. including the trunk mat. It has 5 new correct White Wall tires. four on the car and one in the trunk with the correct jack and tire tools. The frame is solid with no rust. The lacquer paint is real nice that shows this car was never driven or stored in bad climate. It has some minor cracks in the paint but no fisheye or spider webs.
