Although the car was pretty much unchanged underneath from the previous year, he body and interior were all new. Derived from the Mako Shark/Manta Ray/ show cars of the '60's, the new Shark featured peaked front fenders, "Coke Bottle" shaped center section, "duck tail" rear end and for the first time ever in a Corvette, emovable T-top roof panels and rear windows giving you a true targa-roof experience!
