Description of 1967 Chevrolet Corvair

Up for auction is this great looking 1967 daily driver four door sedan all dressed up in Tuxedo Black.
The 110 HP engine runs strong and has been recently re-sealed. The heads and carbs have been rebuilt and Viton o-rings installed on push rod tubes. Viton seals also installed on oil cooler and front and rear engine seals. new gaskets for the oil and PG fluid pans and valve covers. The Powerglide transmission shifts smoothly and new plugs, gnition wires, istributor cap and rotor keeps the drive chain running efficiently. The early style cooling fan is driven by an Otto fan belt and provides cool running in all weather conditions. There are no known fluid leaks.
The under chassis features a solid cross member with new shocks and re-built rear shock towers. A reconditioned dual master cylinder feeding good brake lines and shoes provide safe stopping power. The tires have less than 3000 miles of wear. The front and rear floors have been repaired as needed and primed and finished with "Rustoleum" paint.
Rust repair is needed in trunk fender seam area. Body exterior needs some minor rust repair. Exterior paint shows well but needs buffing. New door weatherstrips have been recently installed.
Interior seats are good and have been re-upholstered with correct material from Clark's. Door panels and carpets are in good condition. Heat and defrost systems work very well and there are no smells or odors. The original AM radio does not work and a new directional module is needed.
