1884 Corvette - 383 with Renegade Prototype Manifold

For sale is a 1984 Chevrolet Corvette with 62,250 miles on the clock. But, this is a rather unique 1984 because this 84 was the test mule for Dynamic Crossfire Solutions (DCS). Just about every free mod that can be completed has been done to this unique 84. The motor is a 383 (350 block with 4bolt main out of a 1995 Silverado) custom cam, TrickFlow "Kenny Dutweiler" series 195cc aluminum heads, 1.6 Crane Rockers andcustom oil pan. The best part is the manifold which is the prototype Renegade manifold that was sold by DCS. The ECM uses an Ostrich and EBL which is fully programmable. The EBL is one of the earlier versions which means true single parameter tuning vs the block mode flash updates that are required for today's version. The laptop used for tuning is also included in this sale. The TBs are 2.0 inches with 80lb injectors that are parallel plumbed. The trans has been rebuilt and is out of a 86 Vette (30 spline) which is mated to a Dana 44 with 3.45 gears. For stopping a bias spring has been added to the master cylinder which basically reprograms the brake fluid distribution to equally distribute the brake fluid between front and rear. The suspension has been completely redone using poly graphite bushings and the steering has been upgraded to the Z51 rack and pinion. All the free mod’s that could be completed have been. Now that we have shown some of the good stuff here is the bad. The clear coat is gone from the roof and the paint in general is old and tired and should be redone. There is one mark on the rear bumper that can be filled, primed and sprayed with no problems. The interior needs some work and the door panels need to be repaired or replaced. But there is nothing major to be done. The tune needs to be completed - Even though the motor runs quite strong there is room for improvement.

Additional items include: Complete Set of Rim's with old tires, original steel drive shaft and rear half-shafts. Finally the original factory stereo.
