| 1971 Stingray Corvette Race Car. Professionally/Custom built. it is not street legal. 355 Bowtie Block (670HP dyno'd). Richmond Super T-10 trans. Saenz 5-spd. Coleman alum driveshaft. Battery kill. Halon fire system. SCP collapsible steering column. RCI 5-point harness. Bucket aluminum seat. 22-gal cell. full tube frame/cage exceeds SCCA regs. Guldstrand 5-lin suspension. Former Sebring short-course record holder. Eagle Dragway Goodyear Racing Tires. Atlantic Blue paint. Transponder in the nose. Extensive spare parts (full list below) including extra moter (GM 4-bolt 350 . 030 over). Would cost close to 100K to duplicate. One important thing to note is that the gas tank needs to be drained prior to starting/running the car because the gas has gone bad (oxidation & water contamination) due to the fact that the gas has been sitting in the tank for an extended period of time. This is a fantastically built car. beautiful and very very fast. I'm starting the bidding price at $18. 00. whoever gets this car will be getting a great deal on a superb racing vehicle. It has a Crane tight lash roller cam. Brodix Track-1 heads and a Stock Car Products dry sump. It is not as powerful or as strong as the "Bowtie engine. The engine was used when the better engine was being worked on and needed to run a race for points. This engine should be limited to a max of 7. 00 rpm. Everything in this engine can be used right out of the box without any machining required. It would be an excellent engine for someone that wanted to learn to maintain it without help from an engine building shop.
