Description of 1959 Chevrolet Other Pickups

1959 Chevy Apache 3600 (3/4 ton) Fleetside long bed truck – VERY ORIGINAL, UNMOLESTED.

· Truck has been driven daily for the last 2 years, is in very good running/driving condition. Believe it was originally sold new in Northern Iowa and lived up there up until 2013. Purchased by a friend a of mine a couple years ago and brought to Des Moines for daily driving use to and from work. Paint is mostly original.
235 six cylinder runs great, 4 speed on the floor clutch in good shape, all the glass is good. Bed has been redone at some point with new oak wood and is in really good shape, no rot. Has a heavy duty bumper and weight distributing hitch. Has some rust in the cab corners, right lower door hinge area, passenger fender (comes with a good rust free fender). Starts up on the coldest winter days, heater works great, a lot of fun to drive.

· New parts:

o Rear brake pads/wheel cylinders, also comes with new front pads and wheel cylinders new in box (March 2015).

o New wheels/tires (Mar 2015)

o New front/rear coil over overload shocks (Mar 2015)

o New muffler/exhaust (sometime in 2014)

o Windshield wiper motor (not installed)

o Heater core rebuilt with newer blower motor – heater works great

o Comes with a small partial can of original color paint

· Non working items:

o Turn signals not working properly

o Speedometer/Odometer

o Temp gauge

Truck is sold as is where is, no warranties expressed or implied. Buyer responsible for shipping. $1,000 non refundable deposit due within 24 hours, balance due in 7 days.
