Description of 1963 Chevrolet Impala SS

Up for auction is a really nice restored 1963 Chevrolet Impala SS. This car has gone through a 10 year restoration. It was a California car which we bought in Oregon in 2005. The car is a rust free car that we purchased in mid restoration. So it was disassembled. Brought it up to the Vancouver area in BC in 2005. In the 10 years everything was restored or replaced. The car has a 396 Big Block engine with an Edelbrock highrise with a 750 CFM Edelbrock Carburetor. The ignition was swithched to HEI. The car has dual exhaust with Glass Packs. The 2 Speed Powerglide was rebuilt. Everything mechanically is in excellent condition. The lights were changed to the bulb style like new cars instead of the sealed beams. All the guages, heating, wipers, lights all work like they should.
The car is sitting on Coy Rims with 18s up front and 20s in the rear. The car has a air ride setup with 2 tanks one for the front and the other for the rear.
The interior in this car is completely restored. The seats were redone, new door panels were installed, new package tray, new headliner, new carpet, new dash pad. When the car was repainted the dash was painted as well. The car has new weather stripping. The chrome on the car was replaced or replated as needed.
Over $45,000 went into this car over 10 years. It has been restored but hardly ever driven. That's why it is being put for sale. The winning bidder must pay a $2500 deposit at the end of the auction. The car is located in the Greater Vancouver area of British Columbia in Canada north of Washington State. Being a car registered in British Columbia US buyers will have to clear the car through customs using a Customs Broker. The Customs Broker will act as a power of attorney for the buyer. This costs about $350.
