Up for auction is a 1970 Chevy Impala 4 door hardtop with 41,600 original miles that is in very nice condition. I am listing this vehicle for my neighbor, they are not able to drive anymore and they asked me to sell it for them.As you can see in the pictures he has put chrome valve covers and an edelbrock intake and carb on the engine. She said he did that years ago. The interior is in excellent shape other than the carpet is fading a little bit and the rear speaker deck needs repaired, I included a picture of it.I also took a picture of the bottom of the rear door where there is a tiny bit of rust starting to show. The underneath of the car has some light brown surface rust on the frame, not flaky at all! It's just typical surface rust and the floor boards look very good, the car was under coated when it was new. This car hasn't moved from the garage since 2005 other than to put tires on it last year!This car also comes with a car cover. I have driven this car for a week now and it truly drives like a new one! It has air conditioning but the belt is in the trunk, the compressor is free, I was told a new water pump was put on it last year when the tires were done and the mechanic just forgot to put the belt back on.power steerin, power brakes with lots of pedal ! I will assist with shipping arangments any way I can, or if you want to pick it up I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere!
