This truck has been converted to a short bed!! GM never made a crew cab 4x4 short bed!!Professionally built by a welder / auto body / painter. It has taken him 3 years to complete this project and it is ready for someone to enjoy. There isabsolutelyno rust in this Tennessee truck, with countless hours and moneyinvested. Solid truck in good condition that hasnever been driven in the rain since completed,1987 3/4 ton 2500 Crew Cab with under 1k miles since the build was completed. Tough to find a 4x4 crew cab in a single wheel truck let alone one that has already been converted to a short bed!! This is a quality built truck that turns heads anytime it is taken out! Exterior-

This truck frame has been cut and shortened to fit its short bed, the frame has been C notchedreinforced with all factory spring hangers still in the original location. The trucks body wascompletelyremovedfrom the frame, frame was sand blasted then completely undercoated. The truck wascompletelytaken apart and painted, the cab was solid with no rust and no rust in the doors. all other body panels are new. It was painted in GM hummer yellow. New body mounts were installed. The paint work is good quality and shows great with noscratches, runs, swirls or unmatched color in panels. The lower 3-4 inches of the body has been bed lined then sprayed to prevent rock chips to the paint job! All body lines line up nice and doors close correct. This truck does not have a tailgatebecausethe builder went with off-road look and custom mounted rear spare tire in the bed set up. Very solid truck& VIN tag is still in place. Past owner kept it garaged and never even drove it in the rain since it was completed. All glass is good, all exterior lights work and bumpers are in place. It has a 6" rough county lift kit. The wheels are 16 x 10 bullet holes. Tires are 37 x 12.5 x 16 Super SwamperSSR with 60%, they have not gotten to the 50% wear marks. The matching spare is 100%, high lift jack mounted to the bed along with optima yellow topbattery.Exhaust is new from headers back with dual flowmaster 40that turn down before rear axle.

Interior-

The interior is simple but clean, the floor has been rhino lined black and all other interior metal is painted in gun metal gray. It has quad racing bucket seats, all gauges have been changed out to white auto meter racinggauges. Aftermarket CD player has been installed along with 2 6x9 aftermarket speakers. Custom slicked and painted door panels and dash pad. B&M floor shifter to give the sport offroad look.

Drivetrain-

A built 350 motor that has been bored .40 over, it has been dressed up and has a small comp cam, backed with a solid 400 turbo auto transmission. 6 inch Rough Country lift, Dana 44 front and gm 14 bolt rear for running gear! Truck builder had motor built with all the above listed new items, no smoke at start up or at operating temps. Truck runs, drives and stops as a lifted 3/4 ton 4x4 truck with a 6 inch lift should.

Other-

This truck has has 100's of man hours along with countless money invested in this build. This truck is nice enough to show as it is in my opinion justbecauseGM never made this truck as a Crew Cab Short Bed!!! No worries as this trucks framework andthe short box addition looks as if it was factory produced. Over all this is a very clean truck inside, out & underneath. These trucks are very hard to find in this conditionalthoughthis one is not perfect it is one of the nicest I have seen. Crew cab, 3+3, 4x4's are great trucks and will soon be a thing of the past. Known issues-

As stated earlier, this is a very nice rust free truck that it is in great condition but not perfect, it does have a small paint chip (1 inch long by 1/4 inch wide) mid way up on the side of the drivers door were someone opened itagainstsomething, 2 paint bubbles (size ofpencileraser) onpassenger side rear door on the lower 1/3 of the door. Speedometer needs to be hooked up along with fuel sending unit. As with any new lowmileagebuild fine tuning should be expected along withtiming& carburetor set up for your drivingstyle!
