Description for Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1957

UP FOR BIDS TODAY IS A 1957 CHEVROLET 210 2 DOOR HANDY MAN STATION WAGON, I FOUND THIS IN AN OLD FARMERS CHICKEN HOUSE, I BOUGHT IT FROM THE FARMERS SON AS THE OLD FARMER HAS PASSED AWAY, HIS SON SAID HE REMEMBERED RIDING IN THIS CAR WHEN HE WAS A KID BACK IN THE 70'S, HIS DAD QUIT DRIVING THE CAR IN THE LATE 70'S AND IT SAT OUTSIDE FOR SEVERAL YEARS BEFORE HE PUSHED IT INTO THE OLD CHICKEN HOUSE, IT HAS BEEN IN THE CHICKEN HOUSE SINCE THE MID 80'S OR SO, HE COULD NOT FIND THE TITLE SO I AM SELLING THE CAR AS A PARTS CAR OR PROJECT CAR WITH A BILL OF SALE ONLY, IT IS A FACTORY PINK AND WHITE CAR WITH BLACK AND WHITE INTERIOR, IT IS A 6 CYL. 3 SPEED MANUAL ON THE COLUMN, THE ENGINE AND TRANNY ARE STILL IN THE CAR, IT IS MISSING THE RADIATOR AND A COUPLE OF PIECES OF TRIM OTHERWISE IT APPEARS TO BE A COMPLETE CAR INCLUDING THE HARD TO FIND ORIGINAL FRONT AND REAR SEAT AND COMPLETE BELTLINE TRIM ABOVE AND BELOW SIDE WINDOWS, THE FLOORS ARE TOAST AND WILL NEED NEW ONES, IT HAS RUST IN THE USUAL PLACES LIKE THE LOWER QUARTER PANEL IN FRONT OF WHEEL, BOTTOM OF FENDERS, THE PASSENGER DOOR, TAILGATE ETC. THE DRIVERS DOOR I THINK IS SALVAGABLE, THE DRIP RAILS APPEAR TO BE GOOD, THE BUMPERS APPEAR TO BE GOOD FOR THEIR AGE, THE FRONT GRAVEL PAN UNDER THE RADIATOR IS GOOD WITH NO RUST OUT, THE HOOD APPEARS TO HAVE NO RUST OUT, SOME WINDOWS ARE CRACKED, HAS WHAT LOOKS LIKE AN ORIGINAL MOTOROLA AM RADIO STILL IN THE DASH, HAS A NICE SET OF OLD SCHOOL TORQUE THRUST TYPE MAG WHEELS WITH A NICE SET OF ORIGINAL 1970'S GOODYEAR POLYGLAS WHITEWALL TIRES WITH GOOD TREAD, THE STAINLESS TRIM THAT GOES UP THE END OF QUARTER PANEL AND SPEARS ON TOP OF QUARTER PANEL ARE NICE SHAPE, ALL INTERIOR GARNISH MOULDINGS ARE STILL INTACT, YOU ARE WELCOME TO COME LOOK AT THE CAR BEFORE YOU BID, THE CAR ROLLS EASY AND IS IN AN EASY LOADING SPOT, I WILL ASSIST AS NEEDED IN LOADING, THE CAR IS BEING SOLD AS IS AS FOUND CONDITION AS A PARTS CAR OR RESTORATION PROJECT, IF THE CAR DOES NOT SELL I AM GOING TO PULL ALL THE GOOD STUFF OFF OF IT AND PUT THE PARTS IN STORAGE FOR FUTURE PROJECTS AND SCRAP THE REST,THIS IS NOT A PROJECT FOR THE FAINT AT HEART BUT WITH THE RARITY OF THE CAR IT MAY BE WORTH FIXING, OR BEING A 99 % COMPLETE CAR IT WOULD DEFINATELY BE A GREAT PARTS CAR,THIS IS A PICK UP ITEM ONLY,THE CAR IS LOCATED IN ASHEBORO NC WHICH IS ABOUT 20MILES SOUTH OF GREENSBORO NC, CAR MUST BE PICKED UP AND PAID FOR IN CASH WITHIN 10 DAYS OF AUCTIONS END, PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING, ALL SALES ARE FINAL, THANKS AND GOOD LUCK BIDDING.
