1994 Chevrolet C1500 Show truck extended cab long bed. For sale is a one of a kind show truck. This truck won multiple first place awards back in the day, but the original owner who is 80 years young stopped showing the truck about 12 years ago, and left the truck in his garage and has now decided to sell it. This truck has actual miles of 6315. The truck was bought new, driven about 6 months and then the show truck conversion started. The truck has been repainted 3 times; the last time was in 2006. The body was taken off of the frame, all of the factory holes in the frame that were not used were welded shut and smoothed over so the frame could be painted the body color. All of the suspension components were either painted body color or chrome plated. When the body was off the frame, the bottom of the truck was smoothed, and repainted complete with graphics and full detail. The bottom of this truck shines like the top of the truck. There was a complete air ride suspension installed on the truck, but the front system did not operate like the original owner intended, so it was removed and put back to a lowered coil spring set up. The rear system is still in the truck and operates with the switch on the dash. There is so much detail that went into this truck, I am sure I will miss something. The rotors were chrome plated the upper and lower control arms were chrome plated, even the transmission was even chrome plated. You could spend hours looking over the details that were put into the artwork that was done on this truck. The hood is a reverse tilt hood with custom chrome hinges. The firewall was smoothed over and painted to match the truck, all of the heating and A/C components were removed. The inside of the rims have a paint job that matches the truck, wheels and tires are in excellent condition. The door handles were smoothed over and door poppers were installed, and have since been removed because the module that operated it was draining the battery. The interior was completely redone with the era correct cloth that was used in the 90’s and is in very good condition. There are now 4 bucket seats with a custom console that houses the air suspension compressor and wiring. With this truck being a show truck, it is not really a street driven truck, and I have only driven it enough to get it on and off the trailer and moved it around for pictures much like the truck has been used throughout its life. There are a few spots on the truck that are starting to show age, some of the chrome has started to peel and had condensation from storage on it, so there are spots where the chrome will need to be redone. There are also some spots in the lower parts of the body where the paint has small pock marks in it, that are hard to get pictures of, but I tried to show. The hood was closed two times and scratched the front fender; there is a picture of that also. This truck is a must see, ready for your own personal touch and ready to go do the show car circuit. In the event that winning bidders are unable, either to contact seller, or to provide for deposit within established time frames, vehicles may be made available to other buyers on a first come, first serve basis. 7. Seller has represented this vehicle to the best of its ability. Final or closing bid price does not include documentation fee, shipping, travel, nor tax, title, or registration. It is the purchaser's responsibility to provide for any federal taxes. 11. Seller is glad to assist with shipping arrangements, but assumes no responsibility for damages or delays incurred once a vehicle is in a shipper's custody. 12. All issues, problems, or claims must be brought to seller within 24 hours of delivery or receipt of vehicle. 13. Provisions for personal or third party inspections and all due diligence are to take place prior to a vehicles shipment or delivery. 14. Seller bears no liability and shall be held harmless for any complications, expenses, or damages resulting from a failure to meet these terms as they have been set forth and established herein.
