Description of 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS

1969 Chevelle SS 396 Automatic

I purchased this from a collector in Ohio to cruise with my family and take to the occasional show. The prior owner was a retired car dealer out of Florida and returned to his hometown in Ohio with his 20+ car collection. This is a southern car built at the Atlanta factory and has never seen snow or salt and from the condition of the frame and original sheet metal I believe that to be true. The prior owner and myself stored it in a climate controlled (dehumidified) garage.

southern car built at the Atlanta factory withan F41 suspension. only about 500-700 Chevelles got F41 in 1969.

The Less than 1000 miles on rebuild engine.ACwas removed during the frame on restoration and finished very nicely. The car is in excellent condition inside and out top to bottom. New tires too!

89000 miles but title has beyond limits. From look of the original brake pedal I think 89k is accurate.

Highlights:

Paint is a 9.5/10: High gloss black gold. Repainted to match the original Olympic gold colors. The door stickers and trunk lid stickers are all still there.

Interior 9/10 New Carpet and front seat covers and custom embroidered floor mats.

Engine and compartment: 9/10

Body: 9.5/10

Chrome: 8/10

Issues:

The new power steering pump leaks. Yes I said new L. I do have a replacement pump that goes with the car.

The rear interior deck is original and warped. I have a replacement that goes with the car.

The AC cluster plate is cracked. I also have a new cluster plate.

Scrape on side of rear bumper.

Selling because son is heading to college and we are considering downsizing. It was fun to cruise in and take to shows but now it has to go. Asking $35,000. Hagerty valuation has the following: Concourse = $64,600; Excellent = $48,000; Good = $37,800; Fair = $25,500.

I have title in hand and will transfer that and the vehicle once all funds clear.
