This is one of 5 Corvette's to be sold with NO RESERVE . It has been sitting since 1999/2000 . It has not been started until recently after a minimal effort to get running which included a new batter, one cable connectio, fuel line andcarburetoradjustmen, changed oil a few times and now is running .It has some minor cosmetic damage to drivers side front bumper corner back in 1999 and then parked since . The paint is chipped and peeling mostly on drivers side and rear deck area around the filler for fuel . It has all options for 1980 including the leather interio, power window, lock, tilt and telescopic whee, glass tops and aluminum wheels . The interior is complete but needs heavy cleaning and some replacement ( drivers seat/carpet drivers door panel ) . The drivers side glass top has a crack in it but only seen from the inside . Doors and hood open easily . The brake pedal is to the floor . It starts right up and moves well but NO BRAKES . Engine runs wel, transmission shifts wel, nothing seems to be missing . Has the spare tir, jac, airconditioningcompressor still connecte, etc.Allmajor components are present . The mufflers were rusting away and removed .Underside has typical flash rust but key holes and rear trailing arms look good as well as the usual backing plates are original not rotted through . Car comes with a clean title ( Second owner since 1986 /last titled back then ) and is a good restoration/resto mod etc car . Overall the car will need a lot of sorting through but is a great entry level Corvette . All cars have title, all cars are presently running .On May-25-16 at 10:23:05 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE THE PASSENGER SIDE GLASS TOP IS NOW CRACKED. UPON TRYING TO INSPECT THE ROOF T TOP AREA AND REMOVE THE TOP THE CORNER IS NOW CRACKE, GOOD NEWS IS THAT THE UNDERSIDE LOOKS GOOD . ALSO THE 1980 BLACK CORVETTE HAS JUST BEEN SOLD
