Description of 1964 Chevrolet Impala Biscayne

Up for sale is my 1964 Chevy Biscayne 4 door. The person I bought it from had it sitting in a shop for a couple of months and did some basic tune up maintenance. It was a barn find in Texas and appears to have little done to it prior to coming to Oklahoma. It has all original interior and appears to have been repainted in the past at some point in time. it has small blemishes here and there, but no major body work from what I can see. The vehicle had the aftermarket wheels and had been lowered prior to be buying it. It has the original Chevy 230 inline 6 with 3 speed manual (Three on the tree). Three on the tree itself is very fun to drive.
Since I've owned it, the following has been done:
Motor was pulled and all new seals, including rear main was replaced.New head gasket since motor was already apart.New clutch.New brake pads.Pertronix electronic ignition module.New plugs.New wires.MSD coil.New fuel sending unit.New fuel filterAlternator is upgraded to a 12Si 94 amp for extra power to air compressorsReplaced original rochester carburator with a rebuilt rochester.I have a new 1bbl to 2bbl Weber carb kit with electronic choke. Includes Carburetor, adapter plate and new air cleaner from Langdonsstovebolt.com. This was a highly recommended upgrade from the inline 6 guys for better fuel milage and a little extra power.
Air ride from "EZ Air Ride" which consist of their "Elite kit".Airlift dominator 2500 bags on all 4 corners.Bolt in brackets that can be taken off and springs put back in7 gallon tank.Dual Viair 444C compressors.Airlift 2 way manifold valves.SMC water traps. All 1/2" line with quick connect brass fittings.Air gauges with independent corner monitoring.160-200 psi pressure switch.Cutoff switch under the dash for the compressors so they do not kick on in accessory mode.Front shock relocator kit.New trunk weather seal.
Custom fiberglass center console that houses a new kenwood radio and air gauges. Pained to match interior.Kick panels house new 6.5 rockford fosgate speakers in the front and dual rockford fosgate 6x8's in the rear window deck that was built in place of the factory 6x9 speaker by a local radio shop.
Dual antennas installed on the back.
Under surface of the car shows light surface rust and no rust holes could be found upon inspection. As stated before, the paint shows slight blemishes in a few spots. Definitely suitable for daily driving and most people probably won't notice, but I'm meticulous about small things. The interior shows signs of wear as well with a couple tears on the front and back bench seat. Upper portions of the seats are good with no tears. Simple recovering would fix. Carpet has a tear by the drivers side door jam where ones foot hit's coming in and out of the door. Drivers door panel will need redone at the bottom. Other 3 door panels are good. Headliner is good. Visors are good. The windshield does have a single crack near the drivers side. There is an issue with the speedometer and it is not working. Could be a simple cable fix, but I'm unable to get under the dash right now. All windows roll up and down. All locks work. Comes with stock hubcaps if you want to put steel wheels on it.
Car also comes with a factory option AC box that goes under the dash. Includes all lines, AC box and engine pump to install. It was just not a concern of mine to put in.
This is a really fun car to drive and turns heads everywhere I take it to. The only reason I am selling is to fund and make room for another project I am working on as well. A majority of the work is done for the right person. I have miscellaneous parts laying around that will go with the car. I have a lot more money into the car than I know I'll get out of it, but thats part of rebuilding a car.
I am looking to sell only. I am not looking for a trade of any kind. I am also selling this locally, so I reserve the right to end this listing If sold locally. Immediate non-refundable deposit of $500 is due within 24hrs of car being sold. Buyer is fully responsible for pick-up of car.
I have tried to list everything I can think of and to the best of my knowledge. If you have any questions, please send me a message.
Happy bidding!
