Description for Chevrolet Cavalier 1993

Here's a very nice and rare 1993 Chevy Cavalier Station Wagon with only 53,843 miles on it and a rust free body with all original paint and dealer installed pin striping [just the Z24 hood has been painted to match the teal metallic paint] that we have owned and enjoyed and are selling for another interest. Extremely straight and clean, rust free body and undercarriage [other than some small areas surface rust, the car has never been in the salt of winter], mechanically awesome, can be driven anywhere with confidence. Interior is very nice and comfortable with the exception of the headliner which is drooping, a typical problem from the era. Many new parts including over $1,000 in engine work [had a new head gasket installed, GM belt tensioner, NOS head bolts and more and have the receipt], can be used as an instant cruiser for cruise-ins, getting over 20 mpg or even a grocery getter/ daily transportation rather than buying a new car. AC runs ice cold. The tailgate release button is in the glove box along with the original owner's manual and the rear window also has a working defogger. The original donut spare tire, jack and lug wrench are in the tire well and have never been used. Other new parts installed or work done in the last year are AC platinum spark plugs, aluminum radiator, thermostat, serpentine belt, transmission fluid and filter change [fluid is cherry red], power steering pump fluid flush and fill, new front struts and wheel alignment, new rear shocks, front end lube, air and fuel filter, O2 sensor, importantly an AC Delco in tank fuel pump, PCV valve, water pump, Ignition Module and coils and recent AC Delco oil filter and 5W30 Pennzoil oil. Tires are pretty much like new, clean wheels and very nice original hubcaps. As mentioned, runs and cruises super but does have dash vibration when sitting at a traffic light, a 2.2 issue that Chevy addressed down the road. Does not burn or use a drop of oil, no leaks anywhere other than the windshield washer fluid bottle when filled over half way, the pump works but needs a new gasket. Has passed the E-Check with ease and I have that document which could be re-used by an Ohio buyer. Transmission, brakes, exhaust are all great and in 1 1/2 years will be eligible for Historical Plates. I have added some old school semi-modifications such as the cowl induction Z24 hood [I still have the original hood and it is beautiful and it goes with the car], the Nomad emblem from a '57 Chevy on the tailgate and 3.1 emblems on the front fenders [as a tribute to the days when we went to the Chevy dealership, bought some 396 emblems and put them on our 6 cylinder Nova or Chevelle]. Other than that very original with the optional roof rack and cassette tape player. Both the cassette tape player and AM FM radio work great. Some dings and scratches but no major body work or damage ever done. Please feel free to ask any questions and view the photos carefully especially before buying as this used vehicle is sold as is with no warrantees, guarantees or returns. This vehicle has been described to the best of my ability noting any known defects and/or repairs made while in my possession. I have at least 70 more pictures of the car, underbody, interior, etc. that I can send to the seriously interested potential buyer if you contact me. We are located 15 miles east of Cleveland, Ohio with easy access off of State Route 90. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due immediate with the Buy It Now with the balance being due within 7 days after sale by bank wire transfer or cash on pick up, no checks. The car is well worthy of trailering but would most likely make any trip in my experience with the car. You could fly in and drive it home. Pre-sale viewing is both recommended and welcome. No trades. I can store the car for a short time as long as full payment is made. Title is clear and in my name. I am not a dealer, I have been in the old car hobby for over 45 years. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time as this Cavalier is also advertised locally. Thanks much for looking!
