Description of 1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28 |
| 1970 Camaro Z-28 RS (Pro Tour Classic) Car received frame off rotisserie restoration. This car was built to look old school but drive's like a brand new Corvette. Everything on this car is new and has been replaced with only the best performance parts available. The car has the perfect combination – the right stance, a brand new LS6 Supercharged 585 HP Corvette motor built and Dyno Tuned by Turnkey Engine builders CA. Engine was matched with Tri-mac 6 speed manual transmission used today in the Corvette. Outside of the front full leather lumbar seats we added modern leather buckets seats in back along with full length console front to back. Entire interior done in genuine leather. The top of the line Vintage AC system was added along with a complete Dakota digital dash, once again to maintain that vintage original look. We installed the top of the line Heidt complete four link independent adjustable suspension kit which includes Wilwood high performance 4 piston calipers and HP drilled and slotted 12 inch rotors front and back. We installed a high end hydraulic brake system with Wilwood master cylinder which will maximize our stopping capability and once again achieve maximum performance and handling through and through! The rear end was upgraded to 9" 31 Spline aluminum positraction 390 ratio to handle the added horse power. Wheels were custom built by American Racing to maximize the width to prevent cutting of wheel wells to maintain originality. No expense spared to build this car with the finest upgrades available to maintain originality and achieve state the art performance and handling available today. Body was stripped to bare metal to achieve glass finish and arrow straight. It is painted factory Flame Orange base coat and Black factory identical stripes and 5 coats of clear. It has the D-80 Tall rear spoiler. The door gaps trunk gaps and hood gaps are truly amazing which is very difficult to achieve with this 2 Gen body style!
