Description of 1972 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 2500 |
1972 Chevy Truck K-20 3/4 Ton 4X4 350cid 175hp 4bbl Automatic Transmission. Long Bed - Fleetside Front Disk Brakes 76K Miles Clear Texas Title. This is a very solid truck! It has a little rust on the driver side door and I found a spot that was patched in the driver side floor. The bodywork is not perfect and neither is the paint. It looks like it was painted 10+ years ago and I was able to get it to buff up and shine. The black on the bottom is painted with bed liner material. The tires are a matched set of Cooper AT 285 17's with about 50% left of them. So let's go through the truck starting under the hood. 350 SBC with Auto Trans. 4X4 New Holley Carb New Alternator New Battery New Starter New Cables New Hoses New Front Brake Disk Calipers New Rubber Brake Lines Fires, Runs, and Drives nicely. Interior: Original seat was in poor shape so I replacing with a 2014 Charcoal leather seat - Very Nice! Carpet is in Decent shape (6 out of 10) Dash pad has a couple of cracks on the passenger side. Most of the time the pad is completely gone on these trucks. New pad from LMC Truck is about 70 or it can be left alone. They are a pain to change out but really finish the look of the interior. Glass is all good. Rear Slider. Changed the Steering Wheel to a 90's Chevy style - looks very nice. Inner glove box is brand new. Bed: Bed has spray in liner Diamond Plate bed rails Diamond plate tool box Diamond plate tailgate cover. Tailgate looks to have rust under the cover plate - but the diamond plate covers the entire tailgate so it's not an obvious issue. Heavy duty rear bumper with a receiver hitch. Body: Billet Grill Chrome is all in decent shape New Door handles Cab Clearance Lights. Look around - you don't see these much at all and they really set the truck apart from others! Bodywork isn't perfect but it's also not terrible. Same for the Paint work. It has flaws but works perfect for a driver. Still turns heads! It looks like the previous owner did a few paint spot repairs... I have color sanded and buffed most of that off, but there is still some on the bed, tailgate and hood.Look closely at the photos and ask questions. This is a truck solid and you can drive proudly anywhere and pull what you want!! |
