Hi and thanks for looking at my 1959 Chev Apache ! I've been told that Chevrolet built only 5,000 of these Fleetsides and I'm sure not many have survived. Many years of painstaking labor and lots of hard earned cash that I'll never get back, produced what you see here. Make no mistake, this is very nice truck with paint that was applied by the talented Kieth Wong of Zacky's award winning customs out of Seattle. The original paint was blocked out and a couple of repairs made her straighter than she was in 1959 ! Base coat/clear coat with amazing airbrush work done by a master of his craft. This truck spent it's whole life on a farm in the dry Eastern Washington town of George. It has all the panels it was born with, how many builds can say that ? The original frames are very boring and old schoo, so she was updated with a 1988 Chev S-10 frame, complete with power steering and power disc brakes of course. The rear end is a narrowed 1992 Pontiac Trans Am posi disc brake unit as well. The engine is a 1975 Chev 350 that is fresh and the sweet . And here is a surprise..... a Chevrolet passenger car 4 speed stick was used to create a little driving style for her. The 350 engine has a Edlebrock Performer intake manifold and a Holley 650 but is NOT a thumpin drag race motor. Drive this one everywhere and anywhere ! She has a new aluminum radiator and will stay cool ! Please notice the One (1) piece glass Power windows !!! And, the stereo will drive you out of the cab, tweeters, woofers, amps, you know the stuff. Also the gas filler is cleanly located in the gorgeous wood bed. Oh yea, and it's Air Bagged ! All the proper tanks, compressor and 4 valves to go up or down as you desire. As you can see from the photo's, she goes all the way down ! so bid strong and bid often, as there are no disappointments here ! Thanks again for looking and feel free to ask questions.
