This week we have a 1970 el camino ss 454 4speed clone. Please don't think you are buying a real ss car it started life as a 6 cylinder car. It is very clean still has all of it's original floor panels and are still in very good shape. The frame is super clean I see no signs of rust. The body was done over 25 years ago and still looks very nice. The person I got it from was a friend of mine and he had the car about 22 yrs and it was never out in any type of bad weather it was always in a garage. The last 7 yrs or so he really didnt use the car but....He did rebuild the 454 had it bored out to a 468 replaced everything inside from the crank to the valve springs. There is a new starter, flywheel, clutc, amd new exhaust manifolds. The exhaust system is also new. I drove the car and it run's strong the 4 speed m-21 shifts as it should with no noise whatsoever. And the 12 bolt posi rear with 373 gears hooks the power down very nicely. The interior is very clean. It has the original bench seat in great shape and I am sure it has been redone at some point. The body was done before the last owner purchased it so if it hasn't come back its not going to know. It shines great the stripes are painted on the cowl hood. This is a great solid driver and is ready to go you don't see big block 4 speed el camino's everyday so don't miss this chance. If the car dosen't sell I really won't be upset it's a fun ride and I will enjoy it if nobody else wants it. Please ask questions before you bid not after you win it.
