Description of 1957 Chevrolet Other Pickups

Time for my dream truck to go.. over the years I have been fortunate enough to have owned several of these tri-five trucks... this one is by far superior ! It was purchased 9 years ago ..pretty close to the way she sits. The body is very straight and solid.. as I was told out of the s west .. I had it transported up from s. Oklahoma. It was professionally painted with Deltron Gilardo Mica Pearl, shortly after purchase and delivery... I had a surprise different kind of delivery...of the poopin' kind..over the years anything I thought she needed..I purchased ; new grille, new painless wiring, new rear bumper, new headlight, bezels, signal, aluminum radiator, new upholstery, carpet, tail lights, oak sheathing in be, new strips, new door handles, new shocks, I had rear springs softened up as this chassis was originally a late 80's vintage 3/4 ton suburban, with 3;73 ratio's. The chassis has a 6" lift with a set of 15x12 Weld Racing rims and 35 x12.50 Super Swamper radials, all brakes and mechanicals were checked and serviced..there are a few items that were not completed... radio was never purchased, but dash has been sized for basket style stereo, and rear carpeted panel behind seat has been finishe, pre wired and cut-out for 6x9's,also directly below is new fuel tank with new filler and sending unit... I was told engine is a 1985 hi-perf truck 454 cu, it does have cam card in glove box (Crane).engine has almn. dual plane intake, electric fuel pump, an Edelbrock carb (witch I think are junk), I may upgrade to a Holley before it leaves... if reserve is met! Motor sounds strong thru dual Flo- master, and Hooker headers Transmission is the late 80's truck 4-speed with 1st gear granny gear...the way a real truck should be... with non lockout hubs...however I also have Turbo 400 auto that could use rebuilt,if new owner wants, it can also go with sale. Overall a very killer lookin' ol' school ride ...that as the years go by are virtually impossible to find especially as a 3/4ton 4x4 variety. As I believe my reserve is very fai, I May entertain very realistic trades.
