Description of 1971 Chevrolet C-10

1971 Chevrolet C-10 pickup truck. I bought the truck pretty much as it is. The previous owner did a considerable amount of work on it. He said he replaced the glass, the bumpers, window and door handles, carpet and seat. He also had the body and inside of the cab painted. He installed a 350 GM crate engine with an Edlebrock intake and carburetor, Hooker headers and turbo type mufflers. The truck has a nice rumble with a little loping sound. The rims and tires are 20" with the back ones being wider profile than the front. The tires are almost new. The inside fenders have been removed as if to get ready to lower the suspension, but it was never done. I do have brand new inside fenders that I ordered that are still in the box. They are included. There is a flip open bed cover on back. It is a long bed truck. It does not have air conditioning. It has an almost new Optima Battery. It has front disc brakes. The windshield does have a small crack. The previous dual exhaust and quiet mufflers are disconnected but are still in place under the truck. They could be easily hooked back up if current mufflers were too loud or could be easily removed.

The odometer reads just over 90,000. I am assuming it is correct. I have had the truck about9 months. I'm not as interested in it as I thought I would be. I don't really have time for it. It cranks right up and drives good for an older truck. I drive it to town to the store or to a relatives house on weekends. The speedometer and fuel gauge work properly. It is not currently a big show truck. The previous ownerdid take it to some "Cruise Ins".. You can drive it and enjoy it like it is or invest some money and have a really nice truck. Its on its way with the things that have already been done.
