I’ve owned the car since fall of 2004. I purchased it from a gentleman in MN (listed it in Hemmings) and who claimed to be the second owner. I’ve had the car in storage since 2004 due to being active duty military and having multiple deployments (I’m currently stationed in S. Korea; the car is in America). I can literally count on two hands the amount of times I’ve driven it. I do have family that look after the car and start/drive it at monthly intervals. It is drivable but there is a few kinks that need to be addressed so this is a car that needs/deserves to be trailered.

What I did to the car during ownership around early 2005 – Replaced the Fuel Pump, Carb rebuild (official Holley Kit), Brake pads/shoes, bled the brakes, new rear brake cylinders, new trans clutch (stock style). I always added lead additive and gas saver for these multiple years of storage...never had a chance to pull the heads so not sure of the actual current bore. The car does get up and go and can lay rubber still...

Issues: The Speedometer cable is disconnected (was when I purchased it) so the actual mileage is questionable but looking at the interior, the majority of the body panels, and under the car (i.e. floor pans have scale rust – no major holes or damage)…you can see the car is solid hasn’t been torn apart or run through like the majority you find from 70-73. That is pretty good as it’s from the North West. The radiator has a leak at/around the inner right top area and its leaking (hence the spatter marks in/around the engine). I think for the most part it can be repaired to salvage the original radiator. The Muncie could use a seal kit – leakage due to age/sitting. Power steering pump is not included with the vehicle. The interior, parking, and brake lights work but the headlights don't...switch maybe? There is wetness near the rear of oil pan. I would consider going through the engine and doing seals/gaskets etc. if you're just looking for a daily driver. Scale rust on the floor pans. That area needs to be cleaned up with either a chemical process/sand blast/wire wheel to get a full assessment of if it needs any work if much at all.

I want to say this is as close to an unmolested “barn-find” as you can get. I say that because the car has its ORIGINAL Goodyear Polyglas tries to include its spare (see picture) plus the prior owner also apparently stored it during ownership. **Disclaimer of the week - I’m not an ASE mechanic; just an enthusiast, and I’m giving the best description possible based off my ownership of this and past muscle cars of the era. I purchased the car while I was single - during my second Iraq deployment $$$…I now have a family and I'm still going 1000 MPH in the military so I have no friggen time whatsoever to do anything with this car (I feel like crying…for joy of course). I'd assume keep it but I'm planning on retiring here soon. Again, if you want more pics I can/will provide a few more if you message me though Ebay. I HIGHLY recommend this and will support it as best as possible. I am also still in contact with the prior owner so he can also possibly provide a decent history.

Shipping: The car is located in Eastern MT….I suggest finding a decent shipper if the winner is unable to pick it up in person and again my family can assist as much as necessary. **Note: there are extra original tires as seen in the pic - these will need to go with the car....four total...will have to go with like one in the trunk and the rest inside of the car unless provisions are made otherwise...

Payment: Full payment 72 hours after auction ends and from there I’ll expedite signed title to winner and support vehicle pick-up process as needed. Please - assure personal funds are present prior to bidding - thanks.
