Description of 1987 Chevrolet Corvette

1987 Corvette C4 Barnyard Find Collectible Collectable Rare This is a 1987 Corvette C4 which is a true Barn Yard Find! It was parked in an estate inside a car port underneath a car cover for the last 11 years! The registration is under no-op so you don’t have to worry about any previous registration fees! This is at true Southern California car with absolute no rust! I have uploaded a video as well so you can get a clear idea of the car. It is a running car and a great project to start up!
The interior of the car is in okay shape. It has lose trims here and there. Some buttons need to be secured. The carpets could use some deep cleaning. All the leather seats are there and the color just has faded from being such an old car. The interior smells nice and clean with no weird odor or smell. All the windows and class work. All the lights work as well.
The exterior of the car is weathered. The paint is faded. The body is nice and straight and not major dings or dents. I have uploaded pictures of all the imperfections of the body towards the end of the photos. All the doors, and trunk and body panels all line up. The top glass is weathered. Overall the body just needs cosmetic detail or paint. You might be able to polish the paint and clear up some weather cleared coat.
Mechanically, the corvette seems sound! We started it up. Put a new battery in it. I drove it around to take pictures and the engine feels strong and the transmission shifts on point. The tires look good but they are old and I would change them due to age. The turn signals work but inside the light stays on, could be a hazard relay or switch. The pop lights work great. It just needs a little TLC and I am sure it would not take much to make it a daily.
The possibilities are endless with this car! You can easily strip the motor / trans and all stick it your other projects. Or you can make this thing a daily driver and tinker with it on the weekend.
