Description of 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa

Up for sale in our Dallas showroom is a beautifully restored 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Convertible. A well done restoration was completed on this car, the quality and the receipts prove it. It couldn't have a better color combination, black paint, black top, and white interior. The polished stainless trim sparkles beautifully against the white paint. During the restoration the engine and transaxle were rebuilt. The primary and secondary carburetors were rebuilt or replaced as necessary. The dealer installed ac unit was converted to R134. The radio is a rare special option called the Corvair AM/FM Stereophonic radio which came with 5 speakers, of which are all present. The list of items that have been worked on are as follows. Recent paint, weatherstripping throughout, new window felts, driver side retractable seat belt, Corsa woodgrain steering wheel, adjustable steering column, 4 way flashers, close ratio corsa shift box, AC, Corvair AM/FM stereophonic radio with separate controls and 5 speakers, driver side remote adjustable mirror, passenger side "bowtie" mirror, electric convertible top, chrome luggage rack, chrome door sills, chrome knock off wire wheels, powder coated cowling on the engine and air cleaner, wire harness covers. Rebuilt engine with new cam, pistons, rings, rods, rod bearings, main bearings, main bearings, new valves, guides, rockers, and springs. Rebuilt primary and secondary carburetors. Chrome valve covers and oil pan were added. The transaxle was rebuilt with new spider gears, bearings, and seals. New Heater hoses were installed. New clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and flywheel. The brake shoes, brake cylinders, and rubber flex lines were replaced. An external engine oil cooler was added with a spin off oil filter replacing the canister style filter, as well as a high pressure oil pump. Any front suspension parts were replaced as needed. Chrome bumper guards were added as well as the chrome trim on the wheel wells and rockers. So as you can see there is a whole lot of new with this classic and you can't go wrong with the level of rebuild and color combinations.
