1986 Chevrolet K-20 Silverado Selling my truck, it is not theprettiesttruck but it is a good truck.It is a driver project, I say it is a project because to other people it may be a project to them but it is not to me just needs minor TLC. a healthy Chevy Small Block 350 automatic transmission. 4x4 engages smoothly and works how itshould.Itis 100% stock under the hood has AC pump but thebelt is not hooked up,I never tested if it worked.Still has all the smogemissioncomponents if your state requires smog,I have nottried to smog it due to a very smallexhaustleak. I would love to Install aftermarket Intake,carburetor,exhaust etc.. to make the engine breath better but the state of California does not allow that.Power steeringworks good with no whining. Drives nice and straight for a lifted truck on 37" tires. Original Northern California truckOdometer shows 54,3xx miles but I believe it has rolled over.Truck is 99% rust free besides surface rust on the roof were the sun burned the paint off.The passenger side is original paint the driver side is not original paint and no trim. There is no body filler anywhere,very solid straight truck only has 3 dents. driver door, passenger side towards the rear of the bed and behind the drivers side window pillar (look at pictures). The weather stripping is dry and cracked, windshield has a crack. Driver side headlight bezel has a crack. Lights and turn Signals work but the high beams do not. Power windows do not work, have no looked into it. Has dual tanks and the switch broke recently. Will need a new switch. The interior has seen better days, dash is cracked and seat on driver side is torn. Some times the transmission will shift hard into reverse but goes smooth through all the other gears. The steering wheel/column is loose but it will come with a new one.I can replace it for the buyer if needed. The truck could use a tuneup such as new spark plugs and such but I will leave that for the new owner. One tire is showing dry cracks but will come with a new tire. There is NO rotting rust justsurfacerust, the frame is solid and will clean up back to black paint with a pressure washer. (I washed one spot to show how the frame cleans up,look at pics).Overall its a truck that could use a little attention over a weekend or leave it how it is or it can be your winter project. You are more then welcome to come and preview or send someone you trust to preview the truck for you.
