Up for sale 1957 Bel Air 2 door HARD TOP!! Clean TITLE IN MY NAME.Own a Great piece of American HistoryNOTORIOUS. This car as you see in photos( Green) was raced from the early 60's to the late 80's. In its day it could be seen at Oswego dragway in IL and Great LakesDrag-way. We found this car in a pole building where it sat for the last 20years as you see it in photos(yellow /primer). After buying this car with theintentionsof bringing it back to its Glory days I was going thru the boxes thatwere in it and found these photos. I asked around and went online and the nephew of thedeceasedoriginal owner contacted me and said his dad (one of the originalbuilders of car) would be calling me. I spoke to him and gave him the Vin and he verified the car wasNotoriousalso some distinct things he asked me about on the car that gave me more conformation. I have history on car as well as how it was set up (engine, trans, rear end) when raced. Irecommendcontacting me if you would like anymore info onHistory of car. Unfortunatelythe person thatacquiredthe car before mestartedchanging it back to a street car. Quarter were patched where they were cut out for slicks( trim on car still has cut outs) Fiberglass front end thrown away, and car stripped of its glory Green and edged out in yellow/ primer. Currently this car has a brand new front end, drum brakes, control arms, etc a new rebuilt running zero miles SBC. a rebuilt 4 speed transmission and an 8" Fordrear end. The car is solid and has zero rot. yes I saidzero rot. doors, floors and trunk are in great shape as well as inner andouterrockers, all floor bracessolid. even spare tire well solid. fenders are ok. a few small pin holes on lower driver fender. This car was kept indoors its whole life.passenger quarter glass and driver door glass cracked. all other glass good. The trim you see in pics is all I could find in car. Has rear bumper no front. tail lights accounted for. door handles, gauge cluster all in car. has extra parts as well.no wiring in car. Headliner in great shape. no interior but i have 64 GM buckets and a rear seat that if reserve hits ill throw in. If its a Roller you want let me know we can work something out.
