Description of 1971 Chevrolet Suburban SELLING AT $1.00 AND NO RESERVE HIGH BID WINS

This sale is for a 1971 Chevy Suburban. This is another unfinished project I need to sell. I was diagnosed with cancer several weeks ago and am now in the process of having treatment.
This is a really solid rig. Once being from Texas then Ga. Only visable rust are from the metal inner fenders where they meer the radiator support that are not original to the truck. Floors are solid.
Has an NOS GM windshield found at a local Chevrolet dealer inventory. New seal. The motor is newer and has new Hedman headers. The engine runs although the carb. is junk. It will need the A/C compressor and brackets and the correct power steering bracket and pump. The brakes work and calipers are new. 5 lug wheels are a plus. The seats and interior need cleaned. They have been redone at some point and the condition matches the rest of the truck. Has an optional fuel tank and towing hitch. As you can see the build sheet is still with the truck too. Great project.
If you need a shipper I can provide or work with yours. Truck rolls and steers easy to load. Selling as is and as seen and as pictured. Clear title in hand ready to roll. Please do your due diligence. I will not be held responsible for any incorrectness or errors or of something I might of unknowingly missed or stated incorrectly by mistake. Please be responsible and know what it is you are buying. Please have your finances straightened out prior to biding also have permission if needed.
Terms of sale a $500. non refundable deposit sent to me and must be received within three days. This is important. If you plan on picking up the truck and paying in person that is fine. Cash on pickup in person. (minus the $500 deposit required)Deposit must STILL be sent and received prior to making any trip. Doesn't matter is you are 5 miles away or 5000 miles. Deposit is required.
NO PERSONAL CHECKS/NO PAYPAL. Cashiers check or USPS money order OK. Most just send payment and balance at the same time and that is fine. Payment in full must be received within 7 days. Bank or cashier check or bank wire OK Cash minus deposit in person. If your game is to be the high bidder with no intent on following through it will cost you $500. to do so. I no longer have time for BS.
If you cannot wait until the sale ends I might consider something close to $6500. to end it early which at that I am not even close to breaking even otherwise bid to own.
Thanks and good luck and please some friendly advice. Take the time. Go to your doctor. Get checkups often even when you are NOT sick. I wasn't. I have never smoked or drankalcoholand always tried to do the right thing. It may save your life.Failure to do so could see your estate sell right before you.....or worse.

Thanks everyone for all the support it has been very overwhelming. Thank you!
Just to clarify a few things on the Suburban. This is a nice truck with great bones that others with nicer wheels will ask $20K and more for. The 3 door is a unique body style that is really one of a kind.that classic style will never be made again. I have owned it a long time and had planned to refine it and hang onto it forever.
The interior is original as with many of the details I liked and appreciated were left as original. That includes all the interior panels. The seats for an example has had green cloth inserts installed sometime in the 70's-80's. Although faded match the look of the truck and are not cheap vinyl one typically sees. Someone thought ahead and loved the truck enough to upgrade it.....and not want to stick to them when hot or freeze in the cold.
Original Build sheet in the glove box pictured and is.very optioned. Original gauges. Has towing package and long range dual fuel tanks for those coast to coast rod runs.
The truck has had one repaint and what you see is it. It was shot with base for a satin finish looks shiny like primer. This was done to give it the sinister hot rod look and the patina dents dings were left unfilled. You could scotch brite for added patina.
The truck had very little rust. The rocker on the drivers side was replaced as it had a dent. I found an NOS GM panel at the same dealership as the windshield. Have the original tag to it in the glove box. The roof is gloss white.
I installed new calipers on the front in March of this year. The windshield is an NOS Guardian glass that came from a local closed up Chevrolet dealers warehouse. This isn't an imported replacement. You cannot get more correct and looks fantastic.
I have been asked about the front bumper and I'll explain. I found this in a junk yard and thought it was cool and had it hanging in the garage. It is from a Chevrolet Box van that was an ice cream truck. It bolts onto the Suburban just like the original BUT is wider then the original making the front appear to be lower. It is straight and is here if you want it.
The truck like others had the lower body side trim. This like others for sale does not have it installed it looks better without it. I do have it should you wish to reinstall it.
I have a great running 2000 Suburban 4X4 350 EFI 700R4 should you wish to upgrade the drive train and will be offered to the winner CHEAP
