| NEW PICTURES ADDED TO SHOW THE TRUCK WHEN I BOUGHT IT 3 YEARS AGO. This 1962 Chevy C-10 sets on a 1966 Chevy C-10 chassis. thus providing shocks and coils at all four corners. The truck has a strong runnung 350 with a completely rebuilt 700r trans and torque converter and will burn the tires off the rims and at the same time. cruise down the freeway at any speed. smooth and straight. The radiator was completely disassembled. rodded and rebuilt and runs cool. It has dropped spindles with discs in front and lowering blocks with drums in the back with power brakes that stop on a dime. The whole undercarriage has ben blasted. sanded and painted with undercoating applied under the cab. It has been completely rewired with a Hot Rod Wires 12 circuit harness and fuse panel. The cab has been chopped 4 inches and I have pics of all the metal work. You will not find another chopped C-10 that retains full use of the vent windows! All of the typical rust through spots in the box and tailgate were addressed before the body was smoothed. primed and sealed for the Hot Rod Flatz White pearl with satin clear coat and the metallic gold scallops which was all applied by Pete "hot dog" Finlan. Google him. It does have chips and blemishes but it is stunning in person. As all Chevy freaks know. the coveted 60-61 front grill is a hard item to find but I located a good donor and with a little massaging and fresh chrome it makes a beautiful statement on the front. All the glass is new and cut to fit. I installed 1939 teardrop tailights along with the custom rear roll pan. This truck is easy to drive and is a real joy and eye catcher. This truck. while having a completely smoothed dash does have heat and defrost with hidden controls. It also has a hidden stereo system and with ipod. iphone hookup. NEW DOLPHIN GAUGES INSTALLED AND ALL WORKING!! ALSO. 2 POINT LAP BELTS INSTALLED! It does have wipers but they are disconnected at this time. I have had a great time with this truck and would not hesitate to drive it cross country of course providing no snow! I ALSO HAVE A FULL SET OF BLACK STEELIES AND A FULL SET OF POWDERCOATED GREEN STEELIES WITH BRAND NEW COKER FAT WHITES IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE IT UP?!?!?!?!?
