Description of 1960 Chevrolet Impala

1960 Impala Convertible
Up for auction is a factory Black on Red, factory Big Block 1960 Impala convertible. This car has the look! iIts the right color combination, has the right upgrades, and is a blast to cruise in!
This car has power steering, power brakes, power top, air conditioning, disc brakes, and air ride suspension.
If your looking for a concourse restoration, this probably isn't the car for you.
This 60 is powered by a 348 Big Block. It runs awesome. It sounds good, stays cool, and doesn't make any odd noises. It makes good power and starts right up. The powerglide tranny shifts great. It down shifts like its suppose to. One of the best performing powerglides I have had. This car is very drivable. The previous owner had the car on a some long trips last summer without any issues.
The car has a new Gen 5 Vintage Air setup. It blows nice and cold.
This Impala has a newly installed air ride suspension that is fully adjustable. The air ride consist of all high quality components from Ridetech, Viair, SMC, and Air Lift. This is a bolt on setup, and could be returned to stock suspension easily.
The wheels are 20x10s in the rear and 18x8 in front chrome Torque Thrust 2s with z rated tires.
The car has a power disc brake setup.
The paint and body on the car has been done for a few years and are not perfect. It shines great and is presentable, but it shows some signs of age. A good wet sand and buff would do wonders. I would consider the paint and body driver quality. There has been some rust repair and patchwork on the underside of the car.
The interior on the car looks very nice. It has newer seats, door panels, carpet, kick panels, and top. The top goes up and down nice and smooth and it easy to latch and close. The pot metal vent window frames and side glass frames are very nice! All the windows roll up and down nicely.
This car has one of the nicest original dashes I have ever seen. The original dash pad, original radio, original aluminum trim, original gauges, and original horn ring are all very nice. It has working speedo, wipers, all gauges, dash lights, courtesy lights, and top.
Overall this is a really nice driving car that has had alot of recent mechanical work done. Its a very sound car and feels good going down the road. It is ready to hop in and cruise!
This is not a high end show car, but a clean driver you can have some fun with. It wouldn't take much to make it a $75k car if thats what your after. I have sold quite a few 60 convertibles for alto more money than this one can be had for. This car is a blast to drive, and is ready for a new owner to enjoy!

I would prefer a cash deal, but I may possibly consider a partial trades for other high end classics or late model exotic. Also would consider a Skid Loader or MiniExcavator as partial trade. Email me with what you have to trade. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
