Description of 1972 Chevrolet Corvette

You are looking at a rare 1972 LT1 Corvette. This car is the correct "Ontario Orange" as decoded on the trim tag with deluxe saddle interior. 4-Speed. power steering. power brakes and tilt/tele wheel. In 1972 GM put the L in the vin number of the LT-1 corvettes only. Limited very low production of only 1741 total LT-1 cars built making it very rare and collectable. This car sounds great. drives straight. stops on the dime and shifts smooth. 1972 is the last year for the removable rear window. last year for the chrome front bumper. last year for the solid lifters. This car received a frame off restoration a few years ago. The vin number is still visible on the drivers rear frame rail and is matching numbers. frame is beautiful. The numbers matching engine and trans were rebuilt along with a new clutch. correct new exhaust from manifolds to the rear bumper. Fuel system was restored. correct carburetor rebuilt. new fuel lines. new fuel tank and sending unit. I have additional pictures showing the correct 109 shroud etc. if needed. Complete front and rear suspension rebuild. which included all new bearings and bushings. Steering totally gone through. which included hoses. control valve and power assist cylinder. At the time of the chassis restoration all new brakes were installed which included master cylinder. brake booster. calipers. hoses and lines. The emergency brake system was rebuilt along with cables. shoes and spring kit. The head lights were also rebuilt using new pivots. springs. actuators were cleaned and painted. Ignition shielding (not pictured) is included with the car. All the small parts removed from the chassis were sand-blasted and painted. The windshield frame and bird cage are in great shape. All GM body panels and bonding strips look great. The interior is clean. the seats were restored. new carpeting. What appears to be the correct jack is in place along with the correct orig spare tire (see Pictures) There was a lot of effort put into this car at the time of the build there was no intention to sell it. New Dunlop tires were just installed and have less than 10 miles on them. Car drives great! This car was issued a rebuilt title as insurance had paid out a claim at some point in its life. It has gone through all inspections and passed all with no issues. Please click the links below to hear a video of it running. Don't forget to turn up your volume. Video does no justice for how good this car sounds in person. http://vid910. photobucket. com/albums/ac303/gtsdan97/2%2072_zpskcx5fygc. mp4http://vid910. photobucket. com/albums/ac303/gtsdan97/MVI_4480_zpsi2pt50py. mp4http://vid910. photobucket. com/albums/ac303/gtsdan97/MVI_4481_zpsffjsfyia. mp4
