1984 El Camino SS only 1309 made that year! It was purchased brand new at Pierson Chevrolet here in my hometown in Gadsden, Al. I believe im the third owner. The car has stayed local its entire 32 years. I purchased the car in September 2013. Drove it with stock 305 until June 2014. Then I went overboard on it. Ordered a Chevrolet Performance 5.7 350 motor to keep it a true Chevy. Engine has Chevrolet Performance black on red valve covers and matching air breather. Has Edelbrock high rise intake. Holley high performance carb. MSD distributor and spark plug wires. All Felpro gaskets, Hooker mid headers, followed by true dual magnaflows. Sounds great and not too loud. Man the list goes on and on. I have a book on it with the original window sticker and tons of records on it. Recently did a lot of Ac work on it only to find out a line some place has a leak. But put brand new Ac Delco heater core while working that close. New compressor, upgraded to 134a. Still wish I would have done all the lines. Put new heavy duty upgraded air ride shocks in the rear. The heat works great. Has a retro sound radio that isn't that great. Tires are in great condition. I only use Mobil 1 non synthetic in the motor and premium filters (usually ac Delco or k&n) the negatives I would say would be the ac having a leak. The paint is ok but old, Has some scratches but no dents in body. The interior is beautiful with crush burgundy seats that I rarely take the seat covers off no rips or holes. I don't drive it the rain. Or in the winter, but kept it on a battery tender and cranked and run every week to two weeks. I could go on and on but if you have any more questions let me know. It is for sale locally.
