Description of 1971 Chevrolet El Camino

Video link: http://youtu. be/1-lB1OxH_ncA beautiful car with fresh. drop dead. gorgeous. laser straight paint. Many hours were spent to make it this nice. Beautiful buckskin/tan interior that represents what cars really were equipped with back in the day instead of the boring black interior that is so common. Nothing is prettier than shiny. nice black paint accented with 70's chrome and this car fits the bill for sure. Exterior: Rust free body with PPG base coat/clear coat paint. Sport stripe on the hood is under the clear and color sanded smooth to the touch. Both bumpers are new. Bed surround chrome is all new except for the corner pieces which are good driver quality. Glass mouldings are excellent driver quality. All the exterior emblems are new. Gator guard bed liner in one of the best and straightest beds I have ever seen with no dents or imperfections at all. Driveline: 350 cubic inch V8 engine with Turbo 350 automatic transmission that perform excellent. Previous owner said both engine and trans are rebuilt but no documentation to prove it. I can say the engine has no knocks. ticks or smoke and trans does appear to be totally clean like a rebuilt unit and it works perfect. Differential has good highway gears. Not sure of the ratio but I would guess 2:73 or 3:08 which was common for this era. Chassis: Power front disc brakes and power steering equipped. Has ice cold factory AC that works great and blows hard. Brand new tires on nice chrome retro Cragar SS wheels. Interior: New seat upholstery. door panels. dash and window felts and weatherstrips. Headliner is new and stretched tight enough to bounce quarters if you could! Remaining plastic panels have been scrubbed and dyed to match. Carpet and door sill plates are new. Miscellaneous stuff: Too often. classic cars are made to drive and look good but the little. peripheral stuff gets forgotten. There is important stuff that needs to work on any car and you should accept no less. Here is what you need to know: The headlights. blinkers. brake lights and horn work correctly. The fan blower works on all speeds. including high speed. The windshield wipers work. The doors. tailgate. and hood all close properly with no rubbing. The speedometer works but is not accurate. If you fly in and drive home I will pick you up at the airport. Of course. the car does run great but you do this at your own risk. If you need transport I will personally meet the driver and take pictures and send them to you real time. Any questions. please call. text. or email. If you have a feed back rating of less than 5. please call me before you bid or I will delete your bid My personal cell: 903 268-3219. My name is Mike.
