| Rarely do you find cars that truly stood the test of time. I'm talking cars that really were babied their entire life. Well here ya go. original paint. original interior. original 283/glide drivetrain. and all of it barely broken in. The paint is super shiney. sure there's a few chips here and there that have been brush touched but that doesn't detract from this real life "cream puff" survivor. The interior is as nice an original that I have ever seen and still carries the plastic seat covers installed 50+ years ago. only the package tray could be replaced and thats only because they had a cover glued to it and I started to remove the cover and pulled some of the glue off. . All the mechanicals have been maintained and recently the fuel tank. fuel sender. and battery were replaced. The car rides and drives so nice its hard to believe its nearly 55 years old. There has NEVER been any rust. the under carriage is clean and without rust. The glass and trim is all super nice. We recently installed an adjustable air suspension. it fully bolts on and would be easy to reverse back to stock but after driving it once you would see there is no reason to ever do that. Everything works(even radio) as it should but recently the wiper was intermittently not working and now will not work at all. We can repair the wipers for a fee and this can be negotiated before the auctions end. I love the look of the Billet Specialties wheels but they were very expensive almost 4K so I am selling the car with the original rims. hub caps. and a brand new set of Radial tires. just so there is no misunderstanding the wheels that are in the pictures are not included in the auction. People regularly call or email and tell me they are serious buyers. however they are not. serious buyers bid and are ready to make an offer. Everyone is a serious buyer when the bidding is at 1/3 market pricing. This is an investment quality car but is also a great value for the enthusiast to enjoy for years to come. They don't come along this nice very often. You might be able to find another one cheaper somewhere but will it be this nice? I can make the car available for inspection anytime in Cleveland Ohio.
