1981 original East Texas 1 owner factory C10 short bed V8 350 400 transmission

This one will take you back! East Texas 1 owner 1981 Chevrolet C10 shortbed with 350 motor and 400 transmission. Belonged to a gentleman bachelor who worked at the local papermill. H bought it new at Atlanta's Dawson Motor Company in 1981 (even the key fob is original from Dawson Motor Co). Each summer he took his mother to Branson and pulled a travel trailer, so he had the 305 replaced with a 350 and a 400 transmission for better towing. He had it repainted about 10 years ago, seat has been recovered with cloth (vinyl sides and back of seat are original), new dash cover, and a spray-in bedliner. The truck has no rust issues, having spent its entire life here in East Texas, drives well, transmission shifts smoothly, brakes are good, Mastercraft tires are nearly new. Chrome front bumper with fog lamps, rear heavy duty diamond plate chrome bumper, dual ehaust, chrome bed rails, polished chrome trimmed tail gate, chrome side body molding; body is straight. Interior is well-kept, carpet not torn, original am/fm/cassette, a/c blows cold, gauges operated properly and cloth seat very clean.. Electric brake controller included from when he pulled a travel trailer. Original window sticker, original owners manual, jack/tools located under hood. 59003 miles show on the odomenter, but original miles are 15903. This truck is ready to drive as a daily driver or ready to take it to the next level and restore from the frame up.
