Description of 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 R/S Deluxe interior

This is a documented Z28 Rally Sport with the deluxe interior, an unusual combination. This car was built to drive and show. Fresh non-original 68 Z28 motor MO block + .030, NOS crankshaft, Comp Cam solid lifters. Except for the headers all parts correct 68 Z28 including the distributor and carburetor. Pertronix II ignition. Engine was broken in on a dyno, pulled 394 HP at 6500 RPM and still climbing. Approximately 2,000 miles on the engine. M21 4-speed, 3.73 Positraction. Brakes done, original calipers sleeved by Heartbeat. The car is well sorted and reliable. Tight and quiet drive train, everything in good working order. This is a very solid car without wind whistles, squeaks or rattles. Polished paint, excellent, polished trim. Correct DF 15x6 wheels, N.O.S. hubcaps, original 68 Z28 trim rings. It has never been rusty except for the trunk floor which was excellently repaired, butt welded on the frame rails, with completely finished seams. Originally Rally Green, the car was repainted many years ago in red. All sheet metal is GM except for the trunk floor. It appears the car has never been disassembled, beautiful condition throughout. I have owned the car for nine years. This car stands out and attracts attention even in a line of Camaros at a show. Additional photos, dyno video, appraisal, and GM Canada documentation are available with Dropbox.
