Description of 1957 Chevrolet Other Pickups

1957 Chevrolet 3100 Step Side Pickup in excellent shape. 64. 40 original miles. The truck was painted about 8 years ago or so still looks pretty good. clear coat is pealing and inside the cap is pealing it will need to be painted but still looks good. The entire underneath looks really nice. original springs. front end and 10-bolt rear end. It has new shocks. It has a 350 Cid engine that runs really good. it has an accel coil. torker intake. carter carburetor. headers. new battery etc. Turbo 400 transmission was rebuilt with a shift kit and star floor shifter. The truck was originally a four speed and still has the pedal on the floor. The body and chassis on this truck is in excellent shape. No rear bumper but I have the original brackets and flat bar hitch. The bed wood is original. I put a piece of plywood and new bed mat was laid in to preserve the floor. The original owner had put fiberglass front fenders. he was going to hot rod it and never did anything else; I didn’t even know they were fiberglass until he pointed it out. I think they are nicer and fit better than the original steel fenders. The rest of the truck is original. The glass is original. The original seat was redone with newl foam/batting and still in great shape. All the factory gauges. and a tach was placed on dash. The rims and tires are in good shape and I have four steel rims that were on the truck and go with the truck. the rears are extra wide and skinnier fronts. they looked really good on the truck but the tires were shot.
