Description of 1972 Chevrolet Nova Guy

1972 Nova Super Sport

1X27K2L158592

Factory Buckets * Factory Gauges * F-41 Rear Suspension

This Nova Super Sport was built at the Van Nuys California Chevy plant in May of 1972 and it spent its whole life in sunny California with only two owners.

The car has two build sheets, I found one under the driver’s seat while I was recovering the bucket seats, see the photo.

The car has a very nicely built 350/350hp engine and a turbo 350 automatic transmission. The factory10 bolt posi rear end is numbers matching with a 3:08 gear, code JW. The car has factory power steering and power front disc brakes.

The car was repainted to Daytona Yellow7 years ago and looks great; the car is straight, has all its original sheet metal and it all lines up perfect. The floors and trunk are perfect. The bumpers, lenses, and all rubber seals, and window felts were replaced.

The car comes with a spare tire and wheel, the factory jack assembly and a new trunk mat.

The interior was just restored, new front and rear door panels, arm rests, dash pad, package tray, glove box insert, and the front bucket seats were recovered. It could still use a headliner. The dash bezel is perfect; the radio area has not been cut.

This Nova was born with a ton of options, including the very rare F-41 rear suspension that is only found on Novas built with the Super Sport package, see the rear end photo.

The lights, wipers, blinkers, horn, and key buzzer all work like new.

The wheels are true SST Magnums, 14 x 7, they are not aftermarket wheels. The tires are new BF Goodrich T/A.
