Description of 1989 Chevrolet Corvette

I am helping a friend with the sale of this Corvette and this is a 5 day auction. Car is listed with a very reasonable reserve which I will not disclose, however car is for sale locally also so may sell before auction ends. 1989 was the first year of the 6 speed manual transmission, and 17 inch wheel as a standard feature. I personally have owned many corvettes from the 1970 model on up, and have had a few C4's including two 89's, and was even a certified GM Corvette sales rep, needless to say I am an enthusiast too and know these cars. Has 104,500 miles and passed California emissions tests with no problems. Original California car with just 3 owners from new. This is not some torn up abused kids car. Strong engine, great oil pressure, typical seepage from seals and gasket but no leaks. Has aftermarket exhaust, not sure of the brand but sounds nice. Good clutch, transmission has no grinding or other issues, the CAGS is still hooked up which surprised me! Car rides well, no harsh like earlier c4 models. Tires are very good all around, but are two pairs, not a matched set. Top is in great shape, no leaks. Weather stripping is not all messed up, also not new. Leather power seats in great shape, just very minor wear, no rips or tears, all power functions work. Power windows, door locks, and mirrors work. Air blows cold and has the digital climate control. Original AM/FM cassette with Bose sound. Sounds like left speakers are not working. Both headlight motors work. Registered until August, 2017. Paint is in great shape except for a few minor blemishes, and on the left corner of the rear bumper there is a scrape where paint about the size of a fist is missing. Not a show car but a very presentable toy or driver. I personally would not hesitate to take a long trip in it. I also have it listed locally so it is available to sell outside of Ebay before auction ends. Car is located in Modesto California, the home where American Graffiti took place. Inspections welcome, buyers with feedback under 25 must submit contact info via message to me. No buyers wit negative purchase history.
