The car has had less than 400 total miles put on it since it was finished. It has been stored in a climate controlled facility and has never seen rain or bad weather. The tuxedo black paint is beautiful and was professionally done using all DuPont products. It has been color sanded and polished to a mirror finish. Car is very straight down the sides and has very little filler in it. This was an extremely solid southern car to start with. The car received a full frame off restoration. The frame was completely stripped. cleaned. and painted gloss black. All undercoating stripped from the floors and floors finished in satin black. The car is very clean underneath. The interior of the car has all been replaced with a complete original style interior kit from C. A. R. S inc and looks awesome! The top has been replaced. The top hydraulics have been gone through and operate as they should. The bright work on the car looks great! The bumpers have been replated. All the stainless was polished. Anything new that could be bought for the exterior was bought. including new emblems. door handles. fender ornaments. etc. The car has power windows front and rear. and power vent windows. The motor is a rebuilt 348 Big Block! It was completely gone through by a well known and reputable engine builder and everything is new! The tri-power setup features an original intake and original Rochester carbs. It was also completely rebuilt and functions just as it should. Less than 500 miles on everything! The transmission has been upgraded to a 350 turbo and shifts great! This impala gets its aggressive stance from a full air ride suspension that was professionally installed. It has all high quality components from Air Ride Technologies. Viar. SMC. ect. The suspension is all brand new. It is fully adjustable by the press of a button. and can be set at you desired ride height. All the suspension is bolt on. The car has Tubular upper and lower control arms. with poly bushings. ect. A wishbone setup was installed in the rear. which with the air ride. is a huge improvement over the off centered 3 link. The car rides and handles great!The rear end has been narrowed 1" on each side. It has a new set of chrome Torque Thrust II wheels. 18s in front and 20x10 in the rear. wrapped in new z-rated rubber. The braking system was also completely upgraded and new. It has 4 wheel disc brakes. with slotted and drilled rotors. red calipers. and a power dual reservoir master cylinder. The car has a 605 close ratio power steering setup installed. which makes making turns a breeze! Much easier and nicer to drive than factory power steering.
